CBMS223: Protein
structure tutorial
- This tutorial uses a specialised plugin for
Internet Explorer or Mozilla called Jmol, which allows you to view a
molecule in 3D and move/turn it interactively.
- You can use any computer on the internet at home
or on campus to do the tutorial and then the assignment questions.
You will learn the following:

The secondary structural elements of a small protein, Protein G.
The active site of an enzyme, trypsin.
The quaternary structure of hemoglobin, an oxygen binding protein.
